Caterpillar Crafts is a Community Company whose purpose is to deliver fun, bespoke activities through creative outdoor learning,
supporting vulnerable children and young people, particularly those with a disability and their families.
Everyone needs a break from caring or support to access activities they choose,
Caterpillar Crafts inclusive activities enables children and young people the opportunity to gain new skills, make new friends, play and learn together and have fun whatever their ability.
We offer respite care to parents by either allowing them to relax away from the activity, or by participating with their child.
We work in collaboration with country parks, children’s centres and community focused organisations, putting quality and inclusion at the heart of service delivery.
Our motivation is to break down barriers to participation and helps others achieve. We actively support young volunteers within our organisation. By acting as mentors we offer our knowledge and skills to run a social enterprise, to encourage & develop
their chosen career path, to be inspired and motivated to achieve their goals, and to feel a huge sense of achievement and pride!
Our projects include; Country Park Inclusive Fun Days, family learning workshops
and weekly toddler groups at locations across Hampshire and surrounding areas.
Activities may include; creating crafts using natural and recycled materials, woodland trails, bushcraft skills, sport taster sessions to name a few.
We are extremely passionate about our business to create experiences for families which have a lasting impact and positive outcomes for the communities they live in.
